Menorca Airport (MAH) is the island's only airport and it is located about 5 km / 3 miles south-west of Mahon. The airport is easily accessible from anywhere on the island via the 721 and 723 main roads.
A number of nearby towns and villages lie close to the airport, such as Sant Gabriel, Binixiquer and Sant Climent to the west, and Llucmassanes directly south of Mahon. To the north of Menorca Mahon Airport you will find a cluster of small hamlets, while to the far south, the coastal village of Cap d'en Font enjoys a secluded spot, where many waterfront apartments and villas reside.
Directions to Mahon Airport (MAH) from the north of the island:
- From Fornells, take the 723 south until it joins with the 721
- Follow the 721 east to Mahon
- From Mahon, take the ME-704 followed by the ME-702 and then the 702-2. The airport is well signposted
Directions to Mahon Airport (MAH) from the south of the island:
- From San Adeodato, follow signs for Adayor
- Follow the 721 to Mahon once you reach Adayor
- From Mahon, take the ME-704 until you meet with the ME-702. From the ME-702, join the 702-2 and follow signs for the airport
Directions to Mahon Airport (MAH) from the east of the island:
- If you are travelling from San Luis, follow signs for Mahon
- From Mahon, take the ME-704 followed by the ME-702 and then the 702-2. The airport is well signposted
Directions to Mahon Airport (MAH) from the west of the island:
- From Ciudadela, head east along the 721 to Mahon
- When you arrive in Mahon, take the ME-704 followed by the ME-702 and then the 702-2. The airport is well signposted
Majorca is not renowned for busy road traffic conditions. However, routes to the airport have the potential to become congested at busy times of the day. Always allow extra time in your schedule for any possible road delays or hold-ups that might occur on route to the airport.
